The band's name originates from the Jackie Chan film Jackie Chan and the 36 Crazy Fists. Signed by Roadrunner Records in 2000, the band recorded their major debut album Bitterness the Star, which was originally released in 2002. In support of it's release, they toured with bands such as Candiria, God Forbid, Chimaira, Diecast, and Hotwire. Bitterness the Star is singer Brock Lindow's favourite 36 Crazyfists album; he claimed in the Kerrang! Magazine in 2007 "Bitterness will always remain my favourite album, no matter what".

Limited 180gm green colored vinyl LP pressing. Adriano Celentano (born January 6, 1938) is an Italian singer, songwriter, comedian, actor, and TV host. He was born in Milan at 14 Gluck Street (about which he later wrote the song "Il ragazzo della via Gluck"), his parents were from Puglia and had moved north for work. Heavily influenced by his idol, Elvis Presley, and the 1950s rock revolution, he is also known as the most famous dancer of the Hula hoop fad. For the last 40 years he has retained his popularity in Italy, selling millions of records and appearing in numerous TV shows and movies (including a short appearance in Fellini's La Dolce Vita, before becoming a famous artist). In the latter respect, he has also been a creator of a comic genre, with his characteristic walking and his facial expressions. For the most part, his films were commercially successful, in fact in the 1970s and part of the 1980s, he was the king of the Italian box office in low budget movies. As an actor, critics point to Serafino (1968), directed by Pietro Germi, as his best effort.

But in that openness I found such beauty, such space to reimagine and reinvent, especially in these sounds and stories that make up my latest album. Solitude was a treasure of the past few years, and a deep quiet place of healing and solace in an unsteady world. - These songs are imbued with what feels like a number of lives. As the wheel keeps turning my eyes adjust, and I see and feel the world differently. Delicate strings of subtle feeling and layers of intimate soft vocals give way to waves of cathartic joy and rising synths. My intention with this project was to reach for all the sonic texture I could, to broaden my palette and do my best as a musician to capture the darks and lights of my human heart. This body of songs speaks to the many colors of change, letting go, and allowing the world to come back into focus anew - again, again, and again.

The respected Japanese jazz drummer Akira Ishikawa was not messing around when he recorded the 'Uganda (Dawn of Rock)' album with his band the Count Buffaloes. Akira Mitake, who played keyboards and violin in the early 80's new wave band 'Ippudo,' known for the hit 'Sumire September Love,' created this original soundtrack for NHK's program 'Nihon: Sono Kokoro to Katachi (Japan: It's Heart and Form)' a compilation of Japanese art history. This work was recorded with a different approach from the band's musicality and the song 'Kawano Nagareno Youni' provided to Misora Hibari, and when 'Mono (object)', which seems to be about Japanese beauty, is replaced with 'Oto (sound)'.
